Pioneer Residential Care

Pioneer is a special place where we all live and learn

Pioneer provides therapeutic residential care and education for young people aged 11 to 18yrs who have been referred by local authorities due to a range of circumstances. The young people are unable to live at home and therefore live on the Pioneer campus.

Many of the young people referred from residential care have a range of complex needs and have experienced trauma or neglect. Each young person is unique therefore we offer a bespoke tailored approach that responds to the needs and circumstances of the young person and their families.

Young people are supported by our full range of integrated services to guarantee the best possible outcomes for each of them.

What Makes our Service Outstanding?

Dedicated Support

Our unique team of people have put themselves forward to care for young people as their chosen career “Its not just a job”. We have invested in them with the very best training to help them understand the needs of the young people we provide services for.

They are friendly, warm and welcoming and will always make time to listen and respond to young people every day, helping build positive trusting relationships where young people feel safe.

Integrated Services

Carefully chosen professionals deliver therapeutic support to staff and young people helping them understand and learn how best to live with and cope with their previous life experiences and make the most out of every new day.

Assessment is on-going from day one and information is collected on a daily basis and recorded on Clear Care which tracks and records every aspect of a child’s life while being cared for and educated at Pioneer.

Carers, teachers, therapists and associated professionals will regularly review and decide upon the strategy for how best to meet a students needs. Regular updates and reports assist parents and guardians to see progression and change in all aspects of a students journey at Pioneer.
