Complaints Procedures

From time to time you may be unhappy about something, we have a system for managing complaints, as you would expect we treat all complaints seriously, we will listen and hear you. Although it may take enormous bravery to bring a complaint to our attention we will help you through the process and ensure you are content with the outcomes.

Staff are here to listen even if you just want to chat through a concern or an issue and we have excellent safeguarding leads if you would like to talk to a different person.

If you do feel you want to make a complaint then the first person you should speak to would be the Head Teacher or Lead Teacher, but if they are not available or the complaint is about them, speak to another member of staff team or even your social worker. It is really important you feel you have a voice and your worries are heard – you will be listened to and given the support you need.

Communication is essential to your success through TEC Life. We can only ensure your safety and happiness if we’re aware of any issues or problems – we can usually spot these ourselves, but we also need you to be open and honest to allow us to help you as much as possible.
