Children’s Rights UK
As a young person under 18, you have certain rights, which you should be made aware of. With this information you can better equip yourself and know what you should expect from others.
There is an in-depth document, which outlines your full rights, including social, economic, civil, cultural, and political, but the main points to consider are:
- You have the right to health and healthcare, which will be provided to you at Pioneer
- You have the right to freedom of expression, which means you should be involved in any decisions made at Pioneer about you and your future, as well as being able to access any information we hold about you
- You have the right to education, leisure, culture, and the arts through your journey at Pioneer
There are lots of other points included in your rights and you should make yourself familiar with them, so you can advocate for yourself. At Pioneer, our basis for your health, well-being, and security are these rights – ensuring you have a happy and healthy existence with us.
You can see more about your rights here: NIDirect
