Phoenix Park is a 70-acre site located at Preston Docks alongside the River Ribble and home to Pioneer TEC’s residential lodges and Training to Employment Education Centre (school). 

The site is gradually undergoing a multi-million-pound investment to develop a multi-sport and leisure facility over the next decade. The objective, once the development plan is complete, is that the site will be powered by renewable energy obtained from onsite solar and wind power.

In addition to the existing motocross circuits, the sport and leisure facility will include two large lakes for water sports, a high ropes course, a dry ski slope and downhill mountain bike track and skateboard park, along with new buildings and infrastructure operated under a Community Interest Company (CIC).

The Phoenix Park CIC will help engage and educate young people about the importance of sustainable carbon reduction and a healthier plan for our planet. It will also provide work experience, traineeships and employment opportunities for those students at Stages 3-5 of the Pioneer TEC school curriculum.
